The Boston University Cosmetic & Laser Center offers a variety of different laser procedures for all ages, skin types, and skin colors. All procedures are performed by our in-house team of skin care physicians, dermatologists, and specialists to ensure comfortable and effective treatment.
The BU Cosmetic & Laser Center features dozens of popular skin care procedures for men and women in the areas of anti-aging, hair removal, resurfacing, tattoo removal and pigmentation changes. All treatments are performed using state-of-the-art lasers and equipment.
Our areas of expertise include:
- Laser Therapy for Vascular Lesions – ideal for removing spider veins, enlarged blood vessels, and birthmarks.
- Laser for Tattoo Removal – safely eliminate the tattoo pigment while often leaving the surrounding skin and skin pigment intact.
- Laser for Brown Lesions – for the removal of age spots, liver spots, sun spot, birthmarks, and freckles.
- Laser Resurfacing – for the treatment of skin lines and wrinkles.
- Laser Hair Removal – safe, effective removal of unwanted hair for all skin types.
- Skin Tightening – we use GentleMAX Nd:YAG, a non-surgical option, to tighten skin.

All laser procedures are performed at our Commonwealth Avenue location on the campus of Boston University. As an affiliate of the Boston Medical Center (BMC), our facility blends the comfort and aesthetic of a medical spa with the professionalism and expertise of a research medical facility. Our office is conveniently located on the MBTA green line and just minutes from Brookline, Newton, and Cambridge.
